Jason and Hayley’s Non-Traditional Wedding in Palm Springs
Jason and Hayley’s wedding was a beautifully non-traditional affair, hosted at their family residence in Palm Springs. For this event, we transformed the backyard into an intimate, Italian-inspired oasis, complete with a custom floor covering the pool, allowing guests to dine over the water. The event palette featured warm terracotta and cream tones, perfectly complementing the lush greenery and twinkling lights that adorned the pergola under which the ceremony took place.
The couple’s main priority was an intimate dinner party where food was the undeniable star. Their favorite local spot, Workshop Kitchen + Bar, catered the event, serving a decadent 7-course meal. To keep the Italian influence alive, we collaborated with Fiona of Fiona’s Pasta, who created a custom dish featuring her colorful and intricately designed pasta. She also provided each guest with a personalized pasta gift box as a memorable keepsake from the night.
Hayley’s vision centered around a beautifully designed tablescape and expertly paired dishes, while Jason focused on offering guests Japanese whiskey flights and a cigar bar for a touch of indulgence. The night concluded with a live jazz band playing amidst a candlelit table, lined with wine and pasta sauce stains—a testament to the great time had by all. Guests were invited to turn over their menus to fill out a custom Mad Lib, written by the bride and groom, to keep as a cherished reminder of this unforgettable evening.
